I searched getjar.com cuz i was interested.

http://www.getjar.com/products/12198/Libris20
--this might work if you "goatbreak" it. it has to access the file system, which i'm not sure will work, but it might if you do goatbreak it. search around for that... it's an at&t branding hack figured out by agoattemer (sp).

http://www.getjar.com/products/8033/WattpadReadandShareeBooks
--this will probably work with no hacks, as it accesses the books from data.

i don't feel like downloading them and testing them.

i am pretty sure our phone supports .txt files, so try that out too. would work way better than a program.

I'm bumping this because I couldn't find what I was looking for. I remember reading some time back a thread about ebooks on the eternity. A guy in the office here emails his ebooks as attachments to his gmail account and reads the book from the attachment via his email.

I thought I'd share this just in case it helps anyone or seeds new ideas

Happy weekend to y'all

I've tried probably most if not all of the readers mentioned. My favorite so far is Tequila Cat. The display is very readable, uses the entire screen for text and makes excellent use of the touchscreen. Its only shortcoming is that it can open only text files so text formatting is not possible. I am still looking for a free reader that will support formatting such as italics and bold in the text. Has anyone found an application capable of handling formatted text?
