I am suprised no one has asked this question, and yes I searched for an answer first, because alot of topics require one. Where can you download a tk explorer?

TK File Explorer is basically like your windows explorer but connects to your phone.

You can easily transfer things to and from your phone.

It will have an interface like this and your phone will be at the bottom with the same interface:

Haha... there is no "fire"... he just meant it is difficult as hell to connect to Tk again once he has connected and then disconnected.

I'm not at all sure TK File Explorer works with the Eternity (heck, or anything else...)

I've got it installed; Samsung's "New PC Studio" works fine. When I try to connect it gets the connection to the phone, briefly, then says "Error: the communication link is lost."

Even tho the software says it's written by Samsung, they won't support it - at least I can't get them to admit to it on the tech support line.

I loved this phone when I bought it - I got a great deal, it had all the functionality I wanted (or so I was lead to believe...) and it was a fantastic form factor. After finding out there aren't really any games or utilities that don't use the accelerometer, and not being able to load things to the phone manually, and the very limited sync software provided, I'd return it if I could.

TkFileexplorer works with the eternity, although for some users it seems to give them lots of trouble. Many people here have it working just fine all the time. It does take a little finagling. It works good for me however on Vista 64bit without any issues at all.

Search some for topics on this on this board and you will find all of the answers you need to getting it to work right for installing both games and apps, and from what I have seen (I don't really game on my phone much) there are a lot of games many of which are full screen and a decent amount of free working apps.

It's not an Iphone (Thank the lord for that) and if that is what you were looking for was a smart phone not a feature phone then you probably didn't do as much research on this phone as you could have with the available information not only on this forum but spread like butter on the "series of tubes" we call the internet.

From the number of people who have the same error I do - as posted on these forums, that you so usefully suggest searching, even tho I did it already, which is how I ended up here, naturally - I don't call this "working". Even people who HAVE IT working sometimes lose it.

And I've installed it 4 or 5 times, downgraded, upgraded, rebooted phones and PCs, pulled out my USB hub. This isn't "working" - no matter what you think.

And there are games. Please show me the list of accelerometer games (which is what I said last time) and I'll retract that statement. I can't find any (other than the very silly dice demo that come with the phone)

And personally I wasn't looking for a smart phone, but a phone with a particular feature set. They SAID this phone had the feature set, too. It just works poorly or not at all.
