Answer tones

I just bought my eternity and I'm loving it. I've been reading the forum and learned so much. Now I need to know if you can create your own answer tones and assign them to your phone. I'm really new at this and have never had answer tone feature. I just set this up last night and picked a song from ATT tones. I would like to create my own tunes to assign and have no clue. Also which freebe sites are best to choose ringtones from for the eternity. Thanks for all the help. I love this forum. You guys rock!

Thank you, hobosrock. Yes it does help. That's what I was thinking. I had ask everyone at work and they said the same thing. They are all on verison. Ok....I'll at least be making my own ringtones. Thanks again.

answer tones can only be provided by your provider.


think of it this way...
when you call someone, that digital ringing you hear coming out of your earpiece doesn't really  exist. its a fictitious sound that the company plays so you know you haven't been disconnected. its a throw back to the days when an operator would actually connect the call, the metal bells did actually make the noise in the phone lines.

they can easily replace the sound with music. hence, answer tones/ring backs were created.
