Music Player not seeing Memory Card audio

Sorry if this has been covered, but cannot seem to find it anywhere...
I seem to be having a problem of the music player not seeing any audio from the memory card. Is this a pathing problem? Or is this even possible? Music Player can see all the music from the phone memory, just not th ememory card. I have copied a couple of the same songs over to the card along with many other songs. I can play the audio if I go directly to the music, but without the music player, I cannot create a playlist. Kind of a drag to play each individual song from the card!

Can the memory card be pathed to the music player's "look at list"?
