Is the song file name to long or have & : ' etc in the titles?

I only used PCStudio once and found it very slow to sync. Have you tried just draging the files over in exployer and not using PCStudio? I have done about 800 songs this way without issue. I have done this with both the card in the phone and in my PC.

I just set the phone to mass strorage. The just drag the files over to the phone and onto the memory card. The phone will apear on the left as another devise. Click on it to expand the folders in the phone. You will see an Audio, Music, Video and Pictures folder. (Might be a few others) Just create folders with the artists or album names in side the music folder and drag the files over. Simple and quick.

you will want to make playlists when you get a lot of music on the card, the player slows to a crawl unless you use playlists. See my guide in How To on how to make playlosts the easy way on the computer. I can't give the actual link as I'm
 on my phone

have you tried starting over??? reformatting your card I mean? sometimes cards just get trash on them and it mess up the whole works. by trash i mean something not deleted or moved right.... try reformatting your card using the phone. empty card first since this will erase it. menu>settings>memory management>memory card details> bottom left button......

Did you get an adapter card with the micro card? It should slide inside the SD card adapter and then just put it into your PC's card reader. That is how I put music on my card for about a week until my data cable arrived.

You might have a defective card.

That's a might, I would try this first

Either stick your card in your phone and connect with mass storage or put it in the adapter and stick it in the usb sd card reader.

Go into windows explorer and right click the drive letter that corresponds with your sd card.

Choose Format...

Make sure that the file system is FAT and not FAT32, and also make sure that quick format is unchecked.

Click start... it will format your card.

Now either restart your phone or put the sd card back into your phone then restart depending on how you did it.

Once restarted connect using mass storage again and the card SHOULD work, if not I would say it's defective.  The phone should put the appropriate folders on the card when the phone reboots.  If not don't worry you can just add the folders yourself.

Audio is a main folder, inside are the subfolders, Music, Tones and Recorded Audio all these are inside the Audio folder.

Then there are 2 more main folders which are Videos and Pictures these are where your Audio folder is.

So I would make the Audio, Videos, and Pictures folders, then double click on Audio and make the, Tones, Music and Recorded Audio folders.

And yes the folders that are plural like Videos do need the s on the end it is not just the way I am typing this out.

Sheesh hope this helps

if that didnt work... formating using the phone(the option is where I pointed you before) is usally the best method since it will then reinstall the three folders that the phone needs on there, after that just use your adapter to load stuff to the card. and dont worry about that SThumb. something file. it shows up whenever you use a usb adapter for a card...(it doesnt hurt anything asnd you cant get rid of it anyway (itll just show back up)
