and what exactly do you do with a picture taken from a 12mp cam?
i have a hard enough time getting 2mp pics to send via mms without resizing.

steve jobs was right when he said iphone didn't need mms because of email. our phone, while having the biggest size sender available on the market, sends 600k. which isn't enough for more mega pixels

Anything more or less above VGA resolution (640x480) is kind of superfluous for MMS. The point of MMS is to send phone-to-phone, and very very few phones have more than 640 pixels. Sure, you could argue zooming, but still...

My point is, that 12MP camera-with-a-phone-attached is more or less looking to replace a point-and-shoot, not to be used just for sending cute pictures to a friend for a laugh. You would use a Memory Stick or a data cable to look at pictures on a computer. I don't know, maybe it is just me, but I barely ever use MMS. Just don't see the point. And yes, with the iPhone's email implementation, MMS is (IMHO) not really needed. Still fun to laugh at iPhone users when they are forced to say "oh ya, my phone can't send pictures"  Grin
