MC and camera?

with this code, does anyone think they could make the camera better? I'm pretty sure software improvements could drastically make this camera work up to par

The only thing thats wrong with the camera is that 4 second delay for pictures. Cheesy

Its a 3mp Mobile Phone that can take some pretty amazing pictures, I think you can wait the extra 3 or 4 seconds for the picture to appear Wink

well i had a sony ericsson w580i before and i was able to hack that thing great.
and you could install a different camera driver that gave you better colors, took pics quicker.. so a better camera driver would be nice
the only problem is... the master code doesnt really do anything.. we still cant put things into locked folders so yeah even if a driver was made or found for us it wouldnt do any good...

i guess the camera is fine, but it could be better. my mom's old lg shine takes better pictures; you can notice the quality when you load them on a computer, and it seems kind of silly how a 2mp camera looks better than a 3mp.

yeah mp is the size... although its possible that it has better color and iso
theres a number of things that can go into how well a camera takes a picture besides megapixels...

megapixel equates to size but it isn't. its how many dots per square inch.
a 3 takes a better picture than 2 when all things are equal. more pixels.

dude, i gotta tell ya. that shine must really take a good shot because the eternity takes some damn nice photos at the 2mp level.
half the review sites think its better than the 5mp found on the behold and omnia, leading some to speculate that samsung never change it to 3 before distributing to Att.
and that's not even bringing up my own experiences of people telling me my phone takes a better picture than their cam.

perhaps its the user?

Its a phone, if you want a super-HD ultra camera, go buy one.

Oh my god... That would be pretty amazing.
But I don't use my phone as my main camera, that's what my camera is for. So... if that's the only selling point other than the 16:9 screen... Not really that great of a phone in my opinion. But we'll see how that one turns out.

But anyway, our camera isn't going to get better. If you'd read some of the other topics, you'd hear people talking about how the Internals menu just appears to be old projects that Samsung never finished or implemented. There are few things that are useful so far in there, but the ones that were useful, were quite useful.
