I've searched and think I've found my answer. But want to ask to make sure.
I understand on how to install and delete.

I want to try different browsers. When I download them they will install in the games & apps folder right? and if I don't like them I can just delete them?

When I want to try a different browser I just go to my games & apps folder and run the browser I want from there?

The reason I ask is I don't want the main browser that comes on the phone to be gone.

The built-in browser will not be deleted by you installing a third party browser. Go ahead and try them. There is no risk.

That is correct, the main browser will not be gone no matter what app you install.

EDIT: to late Sad

Thanks Bantam Bytes and Caveman.

That's what I thought but I couldn't find a direct question/answer.

And you can delete the ones you install.

its not like a pc where you need to decide one or the other and assign default accesses. its a java app. download it, use it. there's no messing it up to be worried about.

I'm sorry I didn't think to do a search of "Fit to screen internet"  or I would have found my answer.

Thanks again Bantam Bytes and Caveman.
