Hi,
I've been using JabpLite for some time on my Samsung to keep track of my bank accounts and I really like it.
I want to be able to transfer the data from my phone to the computer and vise versa. There is an import and export feature in the program that allows for exporting a copy of the info to your memory card but Samsung won't let it access the files so the program can't do this.
I followed the instructions for goat breaking the program but there is a problem. The info that is in the appdb folder are the data bases with all the account information in it. I did delete these and the program did restart and recreate these files but it took me back to the beginning with no accounts or transactions.
So using Tk File explorer I went back in and replaced those files with a copy I had made and the data was back in my application but it still won't let me download and export file to my memory card!!
Any help accomplishing this would be a HUGE help!

Sorry a question how did you get Tk file Explorer to work on your eternity 2 . I just got 1 because my impression broke and insurance sent me the SE 2, but I can't get it to connect with Tk File Explorer.

I have the Samsung Eternity 1, not the 2. It's the A867 and I just used the trick on this site below:

http://www.samsung-eternity.com/samsung-eternity-tips-and-tricks/how-to-bypass-signing(all-apps)-and-unlock-gps-(tk-file-explorer)/

I don't know a thing about the SE 2, I guess I'm just lost in the land of extinct models...

Big OOPS!!!!!!
I just realized this post is in the wrong place... I'm such an idiot! Huh
Could a moderator move this to the right section, SE 1 not 2?

tkfileexplorer works in Eternity II by editing the tkFileexplorer.ini file
This works with current SAMSUNG drivers.

First plug in your phone and go to device manager to find the samsung mobile modem device driver and find out which comport it's on.
Replace COM4 below with the port your phone is using.
And change any other fields. You will probably have to set the device and baud fields.

PORT=COM4
DEVICE=SGH-A597
BAUD=921600
PARITY=0
STOPBITS=1
BYTESIZE=8

save the file.

disconnect your phone.
close Samsung PC studio and get rid of the tray icon.

Set your phone to connect to Samsung PC Studio instead of ask in phone's connection settings.

connect phone to pc - nothing happens good!
run tkfile explorer.
go straight to connect.
