Unlock and Lock button not working

I recently replaced a cracked digitizer and after everything was back together my unlock and lock button was not working! So I took apart the phone once again to find out that the ribbon that connects the button to the headphone jack had broken off. Is there a way to glue this back on using conductive glue or am I screwed?
