TK File Explorer

Oh my god.. I'm sorry guys, I know this is probably repeated and you're gonna yell at me to search and stuff, but I have and I just cannot find a specific enough answer.. It's like everybody knows how to do this but me! lol

Anyways, I just got my USB cable in the mail yesterday and I've been trying to get it to connect to TKFE v2.2.  I downloaded the drivers and installed them (I think successfully?) and even under device manager it shows up and the modem query yields positive results, but when I go into TKFE to connect (with the right COM port), it says "Error: The communication link is lost."  Now I don't know if this has to do with the BAUD or something, because I have literally no idea what that even means.  Is there specific numbers I should set for the BAUD on TKFE and my phone under device manager?  I'm so lost.. Lol.  And no, PC Studio isn't running at the same time,  because I have never even had that program before.  Is that my problem? 

Yes yes and yes, I even installed PC Studio and hooked it up to that successfully, and this thing still is not connecting to TKFE.

TK won't be able to connect while PC Studio is running.
