I really followed all the instructions on getting the TKFile Explorer to hook up to my phone. It connects well with the Samsung New PC Studio and old PC Studio.. I closed the PC Studio completely and loaded the TKFE but when I try to connect, nothing under the port tab shows up.. Theres nothing I can choose under the Ports Tab! I tried switching usb ports, restarting phone and computer, deleting all samsung software before installing pc studio and all this.. But No Port is showing up! Tell me what to do!!! Sad

I have a samsung solstice by the way..

What drivers do you currently have? Are you running Vista or 7?

You were asked earlier. What operating system are you using on your pc?

If it connects with pc-studio you should have a com port. Your phone has to be plugged in and on pc-studio mode for usb connectivity.

You should be able to go to device manager and under modems find samsung mobile modem while you are connected. Double click on it and under an advanced tab you should see your port.

I Use windows Vista. I connected to PC Studio mode and it connects well with PC Studio. However, there is nothing I can select from in the TK File Explorer..

I went to the Device manager and it says Port COM6.. But I cant select it on TKFE because when i Press the dropdown arrow in the COM Settings window for the Port, it gives me a blank white dropdown window.. Nothing I can choose from.. :/

Try using a different USB Port and/or installing the USB Modem Drivers.

Then dont select the drop down arrow. Just click in the white box and type in COM6. If the samsung mobile modem is showing you have all the drivers you need. Why it is not showing up is unknowing to me. Usually the only time it doesnt show up is if you dont have your phone connected, dont have your phone in pc-studio mode, or possibly pc-studio running.
