I've tried it, and have had success, the site that it used for it is limited though so whatever you plan on using it for, i can tell you for a fact that facebook has banned it.

Please explain exactly what doesn't work, the settings you've used and what it is you are trying to achieve

First off, thanks. The settings changed worked for me and I used calberkleygirl's url.

I've been trying to get the IM services to work (AIM, Yahoo!, & MSN)  but I continue receiving an unknown error.
I'm not sure if it's my settings or if I deleted something I shouldn't have while using TKFE.

My question is what would be the proper settings changes in order to use the  messengers?

If my settings are correct and still wont work would I be able to reinstall the IM services somehow?

they are AT&T programs. they are made to go through AT&T.
i vaguely recall seeing settings in the options, so i'm sure there is a way to make them work. but no one cares enough to try.
be the first.

Hello! This is my first post!  Shocked

So just a day ago I transferred my Samsung Eternity service from AT&T to T-mobile prepaid and wanted to share some information. Today I received MMS/WAP settings from a tech over the phone.

ALSO NOTE! I'm from the US and live in Pennsylvania, so these settings may not be exact for you. Anyway, without further delay, here are the settings:

MMS:

Setting name - Anything you want (Mine = T-Mobile MMS)
Acess Name - epc.tmobile.com
Auth type - Normal
User ID - Blank
Password - Blank
Protocol - HTTP
Home URL - http://mms.msg.eng.t-mobile.com/mms/wapenc
Proxy Address - 216.155.165.50:8080
Linger time - 300

Advanced Settings - Nothing checked off, Everything 0.0.0.0

only:
Traffic Class - Subscribed

These MMS settings work 100% for me and would like to add that I also use this setting under message settings> Multimedia Message > Auto Resize no resize. My pictures come in at full size, are never resized but, it can take several minutes to send or receive a picture message. Also, the tech told me that the limit for sending multimedia messages is 1MB.

WAP

Setting name - Anything you want (Mine = T-Mobile WAP)
Acess Name - epc.tmobile.com
Auth type - Normal
User ID - Blank
Password - Blank
Protocol - WAP
Home URL - wap.t-zones.com
Gateway Address - 216.155.165.50
Secure connection - Off
Linger time - 300

Advanced Settings - Nothing checked off, Everything 0.0.0.0

only:
Traffic Class - Subscribed

I also realize that I have a thing called gateway address here and secure connection. These options may not be available by default on the phone and the only reason I have them is because I was given settings via txt message. If anyone would tell me how to retrieve that txt message and post it here, I will gladly do so. Anyway, in short, I'm not sure if proxy address is the same as gateway address. Feel free to test this out yourself.

These settings work well for me and there, I'm done sharing! Also, I want to say thanks to the staff for the unlock code, unlock method, many games, many settings, the master code and all of your hard work!

Hello! This is my first post!  Shocked

Welcome, and nice work! It's always nice to see new discoveries at this late hour in this forum community. I can't verify if this works, but it's definitely good to have Smiley

Thanks!
