Phone wont turn off, end call, or exit screen!! HELP!

Hi. First post. ok heres my problem. the red 'end call' button wont work. once i click it it goes to the same screen as the screen lock when you press hold on the top of the phone. once the phone is on the only way to turn off the phone is by taking the battery out. i cant even end a call or exit a screen on the phone!

So you're saying the button doesn't work for anything? Like if you go into the menu and want to exit out to the home screen, or if you're in the MediaNet browser and want to exit that?

Have you tried pushing the button off-center? I know that sounds odd, but I've seen peeps here on the board with a slightly similar situation of End-button issues, and I believe it's been said that if you push more to the left part of the button it can work.

Yeah i tried that. all the button does is lock/unlock the screen (just like hold button)

How long have you had the phone? I'd suggest a tech support call at this point...
