Ok. That just seems... excessive!

Gonna shelve this for the night and wait for the USB cable this weekend.

It's just making me mad that I have a connection from the phone to the PC via BT, but TKFExplore and PC Studio can't see the phone. The wizard in PC3 didn't like the version of my BT software, so I'm updating that. But even with this version, I can access my saved ringtones and sounds on the phone, so WTF?

Do I have to delete this file (phonedb_data.00) every time I access my phone with TKFE, irrespective of whether I transfer any games/app or not?

I just want to try and see if I can access my phone using TKFE.

I greatly appreciate your inputs.

Deleting of the phonedb_data.00 file is only when you install games/apps.

Cant drag from the desktop to tkfe. In tkfe top pain is your computer. Navigate to the files in the top window on your computer just like you navigate in the bottom window for the phone. Then transfer from the top to the bottom either by dragging or right clicking on the file and left click on download.

Okay first, thank you for the great tutorial, but I have a question.

I did everything 10000000% the way you said. Deleted that file and everything.
Okay so now when I put the .JAR file into PHONE/EXE/JAVA/GAMES/new game folder name
and I restart my phone, the eternity does not even show me any new games....What did I do wrong? Thank you thank you.

I have seen this before. Why the phone does it, I am not sure. Phone error or something that was installed incorrectly. I do know that downloading a new app or game through rumkin brings back everything as it should. But if you dont have unlimited data I am not sure. Somehow the phone has lost its link with the java folder. So it just cant find anything in the games or locked games folder.

Possibly redeleting the phonedb.... file but I dont want to tell you that and brick your phone.  Hopefully someone that has had this personally happen to them can respond.
