i was able to connect my phone.. but now i cannot drag the files to tkfileexplorer!!!!

If you can connect to TKFileExplorer only drag one file at a time.  If you can connect with PC Studio and not TKFileExplorer make sure you turned off PC Studio and the tray icon.

Please read all the other users replies and what I have told them to do.  Basically if you cannot connect with PC Studio, most likely you won't be able to connect with TKFileExplorer and if that is the case then you will need to get the drivers working properly by downloading the USB Drivers or PC Studio (both stated on the guide).

Try plugging the USB to another port or installing the USB Modem Drivers and make sure PC Studio is closed off (both in tray icon) before using TKFileExplorer.  It's pretty much a hit or miss for the drivers to recognize the USB cable. Sometimes it'll work for new drivers sometimes it'll work for the older drivers.

Well when I installed PC Studio 3 on my Windows XP laptop it installed an old driver (dated 2004), I tested them out and it worked fine. When I installed/updated PC Studio 3 on my Vista 64-bit it loaded the newer drivers (4.40) and I think I had it work with the 4.50 drivers that it auto installed with.

Theres a couple of other methods like bitpm and qpst but those need the CDMA/Qualcomm drivers and its a bit tricky as this method in trying to install the drivers.

I greatly appreciate the tutorial, it is very thorough. I am able to connect (via USB and Bluetooth from my laptop) and transfer files (ring tones, pics, etc.) but I the only folders I have available are 'Phone Memory' and 'MMC Card' with sub folders on each. I have no access to the files/folders you have listed such as 'Brew', 'Debug', 'Exe', 'Media', etc. Any ideas? I'm lost as how to do apps or games via USB or Bluetooth after following your direction to the letter. Thank you in advance.

have you tried to add other programs/icons such as opera mini to the main menu?  you would think if you can remove there should also be a way to add to that main menu as well as the widget menu bar.
