Couldnt it do it how? With cable put your phone in mass storage mode. Connect it to the computer. Go to "My Computer" or "Computer" and your phone will be seen as an external hard drive. Click on it and make a folder called games and apps. Click on it and make a new folder the name of the game or app installing and drag the jad and jar into it.  Make another folder with the name of the next app and drag the jad and jar into it.

I understand that part.  I put my memory card into the adapter then inserted into computer and tried to open it-got I/O device error.
Now I tried taking mmc out, put into adapter, hooked up ph to computer via usb mass storage.  Same error.

Sounds like issues with your computer

I did it and the app was successfully installed to my phone. There is something weird though. My app is named BlueFTP/filesystem/<appname>
I was able to just rename it and delete the stuff before the appname though.

This is great! Now I don't have to deal with TKFE anymore and people with other operating systems (as long as they have BlueFTP installed) can install apps!

EDIT:
Wow, the amount of stickies is now filling up the entire front page of this section ROFL

If you read the first post it tells you that the game is installed in a different folder and that folder structure is represented by the name given in the games/apps menu. I also said to rename the file. If you do so it will actually move the file to the games folder if you rename without the folder structure.

But its like everything when installing with these samsung phones. Everything has to be a long involved process. At least now you only need TKFE once if desired and have another install method.

Hello I have a few questions, because I don't have a data plan.

1. How much do I pay for this aplication?

2. How do I pay for it?

3. Since is a demo. Do I have to buy it to only install games?

and last, just to make sure:
I install the BlueFTP using TKFE then run blueFTP and install games/applications from memory card. right?

Thank you for your time and I hope it works for me.

No one asked for payment. Version is as found on the internet.   Yes you install this with TKFE then you dont need TKFE anymore to install games. Just follow tutorial in first post.

I installed the aplication succesfully on my phone, installed a couple of games and worked just fine, next day installed some more games in the morning and I wanted to installed some more in the afternoon by putting all the games I wanted in a folder and I got as far as putting them in a folder and transfer them to the card and the computer gave me an I/O error, I know it sounds like a computer error but it happenned to another person here in the forum too. I am running windows vista home premium SP2, I bought 2 micro sd from the same vendor and only 1 is working now. Neither the computer or the cellphone will read the card now, the computer just freezes as soon as I put the card in there until I get it out, and the phone freezes and keeds rebooting itself. I am trying to get my microsd replaced now.

One thing I noticed about the program though is that is cracked, it says so in the splash screen.  Has anybody else has had problems? I know it might be that I got  a defective microsd to start with. thanks.

sounds very likely that you had a corrupted microsd card which caused the problem. if this becomes a trend, though, i think we can blame file size, just like we did to MGMaps

This doesnt sound the same as mgmaps. Mgmaps made the phone hang when it booted up. It was also recently found out if you left your phone alone when it hung that in a few hours the phone might finally boot up. The phone wasnt actually bricked. At that time the card then needed formatted and the phone master reset.

I have all my games and some of my apps backed up on my memory card. I have no issues

Your issue sounds like a bad memory card. It happens. And if the program wasnt cracked then it would stop working after a few uses. If you like the program please visit the vendor and purchase the newest edition.

Just discovered when you rename the application without the folder structure it moves the install to the games folder. Right where it needs to be.  Wink

Thanks for this nice trick! But I'm not clear on this step above. Rename without folder structure? You mean move the folder? Or just rename it? Can you clarify? Thanks

Just ignore above question. I figured it out. It was very straightforward indeed. Sorry!
