I have Windows XP and Windows Media Player 11 but I'm still not sure how to do this. If I open the phones memory card via Explorer I can find my music under F:\Audio\Music folder. I right click on the file for the first song and the only option I see that might work is "Add to Windows Media Player list". If I select that option it opens WMP with the song showing and playing in "Now Playing" and I can right click on it and save the playlist but where to?  Huh
I've tried several places including saving it in the Audio\Music folder and my phone doesn't see the playlist at all. When I look at the saved playlist it is in .wpl format not .pla if that matters.
If I'm doing something wrong I would really appreciate some help with this!!! Creating playlists on the phone is a royal pain in the a$$!!!  Angry

BTW I can access the memory card in the Mass storage mode but not the phones internal memory.  If I need to save this playlist to the internal memory someone needs to tell me how I can view that, because I'm just not seeing it anywhere!

You don't use wmp to create the lists. To get into the phones memory you need to use the tk exployer program. You can download it here on the site.

No dont use TKFE for anything to do with media files. Too slow, buggy and not for transferring media files or making playlists. Depending on where the music is stored you can use mass storage, media player mode, or pc studio.

I'm editing this post to say that I've got all my playlists on the card and working and playing correctly!
If you saw this post BEFORE my edit I thought I had trouble with the playlists playing through. Purely a human error and not a problem now! Why oh why do I post before I think???  Roll Eyes
Thanks for the help everyone!
