yes, any phone can be used for any network when unlocked. I ma from the Philippines and I successfully unlocked an eternity. Heck, i can even tether for free and surf for free using built in broswer.

This is incorrect. The Eternity uses a technology called GSM. It is used mainly by At&t and T-Mobile in the United states. Sprint and verizon use a technology called CDMA. They don't use sim cards so there's no way to use the eternity on Sprint.
