Apps aside, shouldn't we be able to get a GPS signal in the Internals/LBS Settings/Get Position Test? I can't.

One thing I have noticed is that in User Settings, the Custom FQDN setting is www.spirent-lcs.com. When I try to browse to this site on the net, it doesn't exist. Could this be an issue?

I don't have a data plan (I'm on a pre-paid SIM) but I've tried all the settings I can find here including Standalone and nothing seems to work.

I have MobileGMaps installed and working fine, but the GPS option in there doesn't work either. I get a GPS Error.

I'm in New Zealand. Any help on settings would be appreciated.

Cheers

I've noticed under 'conditional feature/Applications' my SAT option is not ticked and when I tick it, it wont save. Could this be why my GPS is not working?

Any ideas why I cant select this option?

Wow. The potential of getting GPS + google maps on my Phone is awesome.

If any of you have ever tried to get a Ukraine Store clerk to sell you a GPS w/o being able to speak Ukrainian/Russian...Well, let's just say it is not fun. I bought a GoClever GPS from "Foxtrot" in Kyiv, the clerk tells me it has english maps...I got him to show me this feature, but it only gave English menu. I figured, Ok, english menu means English maps, but no go (only learned this after charging GPS and tring it out) So, had to return GPS to store (nightmare).

Will post back here I am sure after I figure out how to Unlock phone and get a data plan...

So glad you all are here...
