1)   While sending games/applications to my phone I only get small boxes, what am I doing wrong?

  • You’re using WapHQ, use another site, here is a list of sites to help you out:
  • www.beam-it-up-scotty.com – Sends the link to download it your phone in a text message, simply follow the link and it will automatically start downloading.


2)   How do I put games on my phone if I don’t have a data plan?


3)   When I send a game/application to my phone, it says “unsupported content.” Why does this happen?


  • Another reason could be that it's just simply not supported with this phone, smartphone games, or ipod touch and iphone applications don't work on this phone, other types of games, or certain types of music and videos don't work. Check out the phone on the AT&T's website and look at the specifications, for supported content.


4)  When I transfer the game/application to my phone, it ends up in "Other Files" and when I try installing, it says "Unsupported File Type." Why does this happen?

  • This happens because you can't transfer the games/applications to your phone via bluetooth or by just dragging and dropping into your phones memory card. (BTW: Games/Applications can NOT be saved to the memory card ONLY to the phones internal memory.) For instructions on how to put games on your phone if you don't have a data plan please look at #2.

Great job explaining it. I just got my phone last week and I was having trouble, I am used to smartphones but after you explained it so well a couple days ago I am up and running.  I this will help all newcomers.   Grin

could possiblly include stuff about the memory card/bluetooth and how we cant transfer it through there... or add that to #2

I'm pretty sure he'll let you, just make them clear and concise and he'll look through it and sticky it.  This is a community based forum so we all help each other Cheesy.

whenever i download mp3's it says "unsupported content" or " connection error" or something like that.... is it the site i'm at or will the Eternity not download mp3's??

i'm using opera to browse, then when i see the file, in opera i open it, then the MEdianet browser opens to download it... but no luck.
