Trying to install JAR JAD files using TK File Explorer v2.2 and cannot connect to the phone. I have installed the drivers numerous times, taken out the SIM and still no luck.  Anyone have any suggestions or work-arounds for installing JAVA games?

Please be patient as I have installed, uninstalled more than 5 times.  Something is wrong with the TKExplorer for me.  It never recognizes the Phone as a drive.  I have redone everything I can.  I will try it on a different computer and see what that does

He said search. This has been discussed so many times... There are MANY ways to fix this. and Maybe your cable is just bad. Or your phone is bad. Or your computer is bad. If NOTHING on this forum worked for you (And I need to know everything you did) and all your equipment is good, then post.

I have the same problem.  My computer is fine.   PC Studio works fine (though I have turned it off and it is NOT running, I have checked the task manage).  The cable is fine, I can see the phone in PC Studio and in Windows Explorer (if I connect it as MEDIA PLAYER).  I have tried this many times over a period of several days, uninstalled reinstalled the drivers, etc. etc.  Bluetooth is off.

I connect the phone with PC Studio.   Then I start up TkFile Explorer.   Then I select COM30 from the pulldown menu in tools (which is the only choice).  Then I try the connect funtion.   Then I wait, and then I get the communication link is lost message.

My system is Windows Vista 32 bit.

I have also tried some of the file managers from GetJar but they run into security problems and I don't see any way to allow the applications to have security.

Is your phone set to connect via ALWAYS PC Studio and not ask on connection? Also I've found it to help if you turn TKFE on before you plug in your phone.
