There are a few ways to do this. The best way I have found is to download the sdk from the samsung mobile innovator site. You will have to register to download. You also might have to have java installed on your pc. So also go to java.com and install java.

I tried the eternity version and many games and apps didnt load properly. I then tried the newest which is for the GT-S8000. The jet I believe. But you can install as many skins that you would like.
So go start/programs then samsung sdk..... and click on the KToolbar. In the window select the Skins Update Center tab. Install the GT-S8000 one and any other if you wish. Emulators are finicky as you may have found out. So install the s5230, a867, and the m8800 just in case or you want to try them later. That is if they arent installed already.
Now go start/programs samsung sdk.... again and select Default device Selection. Choose the GT-S8000.
Now you will need a jad for each jar so I included jadgen down below for you. Do not install jadgen. Just drag the jar file into the jadgen icon and hit run and it will make a jad for you. Make sure the jad and jar are then located in the same folder. Click on the jad and the emulator will start up and the application will run.
Now if you want to run your apps and games fullscreen without the dpad you will have to install my modified GT-S8000FS skin. Download the file below and unzip it to your desktop. There will be 2 folders in the the zip. In each of the folders is a folder of the same name. Copy the folder (GT-S8000FS) from each to its proper place. The text file included will give you the instructions. Then if you want your app to run fullscreen without a dpad then go start/programs/samsung sdk.... and choose Default Device selection and choose GT-S8000FS.
