I just downloaded New PC Studio 1.1.0 IB2.  Using Bluetooth...after getting Windows XP Pro to see and bond with my phone, I am unable to get New PCS to complete the Search Device function.

PCS is able to see it and it appears to even connect, but it fails with "Identifying the Device failed Move to search the new device"

After searching the forum, I found another thread listing the previous version of PC Studio v3, so I will give it a go.  Also, but USB Data Cable is on order, but I was hoping to get this working over BT.

For what it's worth, the New PC Studio looks to be a very nice tool for the Eternity.

My question is, which is newer?  3.1.3 (on some websites) or 1.1.0 (on Samsung site)

PC Studio 3 is different from New PC Studio, does the same thing but I prefer 3 over the newer one mainly because the new one is still buggy and doesn't support 64-bit.

I just had a similiar problem. Turn the phone off, and then back on. Shut down NPS completely (including in the task bar). Restart NPS and it connected.

If your phone is in mode for the computer to see it but not for PCS to see it....have you set the phone to PCS mode?

Rationalizing out loud here,  I wouldn't expect  PCS to see a device via bluetooth.  I would also feign a guess that your pc actually sees the phone as a mass storage device instead.

I have successfully used Bluetooth to connect NPS to the Eternity. I am useing a Dell M6300 notebook, with Toshiba Bluetooth manager. Create a connection to the phone as a serial port. In NPS click on the search icon which will open a window. By default NPS searches USB first, and then Bluetooth. Your phone should eventually show up with a com port shown after it. Click on that line, and then the connect button.

That is generally the way to fix any sort of connectivity problem, whether with PC studio or TKFE.... Phone is just touchy like that.
