YouTube, MySpace, MetaCafe, DailyMotion, Vimeo and other Videos to your Eternity
***************************************

There are some video sites we just stream/view it as we go or as we browse the web but there are sometimes funny videos or videos to remember that you want to save onto your phone such as Music Videos, Funny Videos, Tutorials etc... or maybe you just want to download videos and put it onto your Eternity.

Just head on to this site.  Put in the URL and download the .MP4 file.

Hook up your USB Data Cable/Bluetooth Adapter and move it to your phone!

There you go! Now you can enjoy those videos onto your phone!  Grin

So your saying this site will allow me to download the video (I use youtube downloader installed on my comp) and I have the choice to choose it as a .Mp4 then I can drag it to my phone, and it would be a 320x240 ( I think or it's vice versa) video and no extra conversion needed ( via handbrake pc studios etc.)

Just tested some videos and it worked but if someone tests a video and doesn't work then I'll provide a converter that will resize it (if the resolution isnt supported).  The website itself converts it to two formats .FLV and .MP4 for download purposes.

I don't think it converts them to the two formats, I think the web sites are now streaming them in both. If you go to youtube and a video is offered in HD then the HD
version is the mp4 , standard def would be FLV. I only say this cause I found several older videos only in FLV. So without conversion usless for phone needs.

Ah yeah, you're right what was I thinking lol... Previously all videos in Youtube are .FLV (Flash) and yeah HD is the .MP4.  I keep thinking conversion because when I was looking for websites such as this they called it youtube conversion so I guess I got mixed up lol.  Thanks for clarifying Cheesy.

Im waiting for my new CPU to come in then I'll finish the tutorial I was working on last night for .FLV video conversion Smiley.

cut and paste does not work outside of the program. I don't think it can access the file system, either...

The way I do is I go to Youtube.com then get a video...
Pull up a new tab and go to CatchYoutube.com!
once You Are in CatchYoutube it will tell u to enter the URL of the video.
So go back to Youtube and under the name of the person who made the video
( far right ) highlight everything in the box that says URL:____________________
then copy paste into CatchYoutube bar...
it should ask you what file you want to download it as... choose the file then click convert
it should be done in about 2-5 mins.
then save it to your computer and you now have a free audio/video/ and compatible file that can work on your phone!

I've only tried the audio ( .mp3 ) file so I dont think you will be able to load the videos to your phone...

GOOD LUCK!  Grin

Also, I forgot to mention that u could also download AVC converter then you can import youtube( etc.) videos to it then u can change the format and the resolution to fit the phone!

Am I doing something wrong? I downloaded a hd video using that site, to mp4 format, put it on my phone, and I get "unsupported resolution!". Man I am having a hard time putting youtube vids on my phone. I've tried 2 converters as well as resizing them but I just can never get it right. Help would be appreciated.

Make sure the resolution is 320x240 as 400x240 (native resolution) isnt supported.
