I found a way to download podcast via the cable.....I am not a tech and middle age lady at that, but one thing I love is my Samsung and experimenting  with it and I really appreciate all the information this site provides.

I first downloaded Itunes software and then the podcast (free) that I wanted, then using your tk file explorer...I opened up my podcast folder, created by Itunes and dragged the files into the a podcast file I created in my phone, under media-audio....Then I deleted the phonedb_data.00 file under db2 and rebooted my phone and the podcast were there.

Not  sure if you need to delete the phonedb_data.00, I do it when I am downloading games, so I am in the habit, but make sure you have this file saved before deleting.  I noticed it reappears in the db2 file again on its own, but I just save, just in case.

I hope this helps

No No No No. Please dont delete that file anymore. There is no need to. You are risking bricking your phone. There are easier and safer ways.

Where exactly are you putting the files? You could use mass storage mode if on memory card or media player mode if on the phone instead. Dont use TKFE for transferring media. And definitely NEVER delete that database file ever again. Its better to go to the admin menu and enter the internas with master key and go to storage. Then select update media database.

But as I said if you dont use TKFE there is no need to update any databases. That is not what TKFE is used for.
