do i need a data plan or is there a way around it

Sorry I dont really know much about cell phones, but i recently just did the jail block on an iphone and it was really cool ...that got me thinking if I could do something like that with the eternity..
What can do I do with the data plan on this....can i listen to pandora and perhaps online radio...
I read some about the gps and some other apps which require some level of skill , but is it worth getting a data plan

You should get a data plan if you:
Like browsing the web
Like looking at google
Want an easy (simple) way to install apps
use gps
use yellow pages
check your email
if you listen to pandora
if you want to download music
If you go on youtube
and about 100 more reasons lol

so ive been readin a bit , it says u have to pay for pandora but i guess i cud use some of the free sources, but wht abt gps..dont i have to pay a montly fee,

How do i install apps with the data plan...im assuming ill have to pay for it right....does the same do for downloading music

yeah you need a data plan. You dont have to pay extra for GPS if you install a free GPS app this way.
