There is no map because you have a hybrid or sat map selected. Change map to map.

Not sure on POI. They are pretty bad right now. And even though it says now with yellowpages.com I fail to see it.

For people that have no idea how to use amaze please feel free to go to amazegps.com on your computer and read how to use it.

If it is a matter of resetting your phone each time you use gps I would contact ATT. Hovever you arent supposed to be using this app anyways according to ATT. Your call.

Wow!  I know you have read it a thousand times, but you guys are awesome.  Thanks for the hacks.  I have been reading and following (though not posting) along on the forum since April and you guys are done some amazing things...which made my phone much cooler.

No point in this post other than to pat you all on the back and thank you for making things easy for people like me.  Thanks again!

Navigator is already signed by ATT. It is pretty much installed by them the same way as described here. The issue is in order to use it you have to pay because the data comes from their servers.

Connect your phone with pc-studio. Close pc-studio including the monitoring icon in the taskbar. Keep the phone plugged in. Open up TK and see if thats the only port? If not change it to whatever is there with the drop down arrow. As a word of advice I keep my cable always plugged into the computer that way my port never chages. Different usb ports are different ports.

also if you just put your phone on pc studios  restart your phone, then connect (also ago it's not necessary for you to open New pc studios every time you connect your phone, and even if your ports change your good (unless it's different for the impression)

I NEVER said you had to do it everytime. He was claiming he could not open the port. I just wanted him to plug his cable in and connect to PC-studio to establish a port and to make sure he can connect. Then go to TKFE and see if his port changed.

With the error he got he was either using the wrong port, he didnt have his phone set on pc-studio, or he didnt have his phone plugged in at the time he tried to connect.

If you try to connect your phone on a different usb port than what you previously established connection on it will not connect in TK.  Better safe than sorry for someone that cant get connected.

Not entirely true, I change mine all the time, I have many Usb devices going in and out of my computer, You just have to make sure you delete the TKFE .ini file when you change them, You can think of it as memory for the TKFE program if you get what I mean.

Exactly. You change yours all the time. He doesnt. Like I said i never pull mine so things dont change. If I pull it and try to plug it into another port it will try to start installing modem drivers, because that port hasnt been established.
