How to Improve Call Mic Volume

All threads on the same subject, and for me it was a very important issue. I was about to return the Eternity for good because of the frustration of having to repeat myself 10 times and having multiple callers complain that they couldn't hear me and that I needed to speak up when I finally stumbled upon se4rohan's post, and it seems a lot of people felt the same way I did.

His method worked perfectly and I now love the phone and have zero complaints about the Eternity. I think this method is important enough to warrant a sticky either in the How To or Hacks/Tricks sections.

To repeat se4rohan's post (for the sake of the mod who might hopefully make a new thread for the sticky)...

Existing Values

Updated Values

2.dtmf_tx: -21 dB
3.cod_tx: 10 dB
4.cod_rx: 5 dB

Restart your phone to make sure the changes are set properly (and yes the settings stay when you turn off the phone unlike the illumination settings). If others complain that your voice sounds garbled or distorted after making these changes, change both the 12 and 10 to 8, the updated values would then look like this.
