Author Topic: Why does phone restart when connected via USB?  (Read 1790 times)

It use to work perfectly fine then all of a sudden when I connect my phone to the computer via USB with "Media Player" selected it just restarts in a few seconds after the connection is detected...why is this happening? The cable is the right one b/c the other options works perfectly fine.

Have you tried connecting your phone by all other options and seeing what happens on each?

this is also happening to me!!
it works fine when its connected with the mass storage or samsung pc studio
but it will restart after a couple seconds when it's connected with the media player!!
does anyone know what's wrong and how to fix this?

Have you had the phone turned off and connected via USB, then turn it on while still connected?

I am the same issue when I have the memory card inserted, and I select media mode the phone shuts off after a few seconds.

Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

port going bad, cable going bad, incorrect or corrupted drivers on pc for syncing mobile devices for media....
