Confused Computer please help

With my samsung eternity, I had recorded some audio files. I looked online for ways to save the audio to the micro sd card and ended up finding out how to send pictures to your micro sd card. I used that method for the recorded audio files. I then put the micro sd card into the computer. Please note that I had previously put it in the computer and a box popped up with options for me as to how to use the micro sd card. Ever since then, whenever I put it in, the only thing that happens is that whenever I go computer from start, it recognizes that I have a removable disc in the slot. However, when I click on the words 'removable disc', it claims I need to insert one. I have taken it out and put it in and saw that it wasn't just words that just stayed there no matter what. I am confused as to why the computer would recognize it but say that I needed to insert one.

Can you someone help with this?

Yes, it still works on my phone. No, the card doesn't seem to want to work on the pc.
