Anyone else have the same problem?

First off, I did not drop my phone in water or get it wet. I rarely drop my phone on hard surfaces.

My phone was on top of my desk, next to me when the light turned on by itself. About a minute later it called my husband. After that, I took out the battery and put it back in, the screen went green. So I took out the battery again, left it out for a bit, put it back in and things worked fine. Today I tried to charge my phone but it keeps trying to restart. If I take out the charger, then the phone dies.

I've only had this phone for about 3 months. Is it time to get a new phone? Any idea what the problem might be? I purchased this phone off ebay, it was new, or so the seller said. I don't even know if it has a 1yr warranty.

Ouch!  That sounds bad.  Real bad.  It should still be under manufacturer warranty though. I would try a call to Samsung.
